H¨¦ctor J. Encarnaci¨®n, DVM

Dr. H¨¦ctor J. Encarnaci¨®n received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. Next, he completed 2 private practice internships in 2005 and 2006. One rotating (small animal medicine, emergency/critical care and surgery internship) and the other exclusively on internal medicine, both in Tampa, Florida at Florida Veterinary Specialists and Cancer Treatment Center. Dr. Encarnaci¨®n subsequently completed a three-year residency program in small animal internal medicine at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in Houston, Texas in 2009.

His interests include infectious diseases, gastroenterology, endocrinology and endoscopy.

Dr. Encarnaci¨®n¡¯s family consists of his wife M¨®nica and their cat Mauro. In his spare time, he enjoys sports, reading and arts, especially music.
